1. What data we process

1.1. We collect the data required for quotes and orders: first name, last name, email, phone, address, shipping/billing data and order details.

1.2. When you upload 3D files or technical attachments, files are processed only for analysis, production, support and order management.

1.3. A saved calculator session may include uploaded 3D models, selected quantities, colours, materials and quality settings, quote calculations, instructions, attachments and other data associated with the quote.

2. Purpose of processing

2.1. We use data exclusively to: prepare quotes, confirm orders, receive payments, organize shipments and provide after-sales support.

2.2. We do not use data for profiling, automated marketing or sale to third parties.

2.3. If you choose to save a printing session by email, we use your email address solely to send you the link required to reopen that session. We do not use this address to send reminders, promotional emails or other marketing communications as a result of saving the session. A delivery record containing the recipient address is retained for up to 365 days for operational and audit purposes and is not used for subsequent communications.

3. Storage of files and data

3.1. Files and data associated with a saved calculator session are scheduled for automatic deletion after the expiry date shown to the user. Each time an active session is reopened through the access link, its expiry is reset to three months from the date of access. If the session is converted into an order, the data required for the order is retained as described in section 3.2.

3.2. Files and data linked to confirmed orders are stored for the time necessary for production, delivery, support and administrative/legal obligations, then deleted or minimized.

3.3. Files uploaded in the calculator are used only for technical analysis and quote estimation and remain associated exclusively with the calculator session.

3.4. A saved session link is an access link. Anyone who possesses the link can access the associated session contents until the link expires or becomes invalid following an order.

4. Cookies and tracking

4.1. We do not use profiling, marketing or third-party tracking cookies.

4.2. We do not use advertising tracking systems. Any temporary technical data is used only for session operation.

4.3. Public QR links generated from the back-office may record scan date/time, browser-estimated language and a technical visitor estimate obtained through an irreversible hash. We do not request GPS from the phone and we do not store the IP address in plain text.

5. Data sharing

5.1. We share data only with suppliers strictly necessary for the service (hosting, payments, shipping), limiting it to essential information.

5.2. Suppliers process data according to contractual instructions and appropriate security measures.

6. User rights

6.1. You can request access, rectification, deletion or restriction of processing of your data, within the limits provided by law.

6.2. For any privacy request write to info@3d-fab.ch. The Italian version of this privacy policy is the only legally binding version, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
